we are making our final bus ride to the airport to fly to another airport to wait 11 hours to fly to another airport to run through customs like crazy people to hopefully fly to another airport to get a bus ride home, provided mother nature doesn't put those plans in a blender and hold us up in the third airport with storms and tornadoes and llama drama around the 4th airport.
mary shared a "pae/pai/??" thing a bethesda member had given her. the white gooey part takes similar to sweetened condensed milk and covers a more fibrous part surrounding a giant seed. it was... interesting. I followed it with several pieces of chocolate cake because, well, when in brasil do what the brasilians do! i regret nothing.
it has been a beautiful time, truly. we've met truly wonderful people who are an inspiration to those of us who are hesitant to worship loud in praise of miraculous salvation, who sweat at the thought of sharing their faith with a neighbor, or who struggle to act on a sudden impulse even if it's likely the Holy Spirit. soooo, me. yeah, that's me.
ways 2 praise:
*praise Him for this past week and the many ways (large and small) that He has moved
*praise Him for bethesda baptist church and their growth and faith and love
ways 2 pray:
*please pray that we will trust the Father of lights (james 1..?) whatever ["mother"] nature does. i really really want to get home. at least if were stuck in atlanta, we'll be able to drink the water and speak english 😆
*pray for pioneer missions. it's not easy. tony and karen have calculated they've traveled about enough to encircle the globe at least 4 times. rodrigo has been with pioneer for 8 years, and much of his traveling includes his amazing wife ilara and their two young kids, liz and paul.
* pray for bethesda. a church only survives while its members are sharing the Truth and abiding in Him. they have big dreams; pray that fire burns long and strong!
* pray for us. a church only survives while its members are sharing the Truth and abiding in Him. yes, i said it twice. pray for whoever YOU are called to be witnessing to, and encourage your church family to do the same!
